Donations for Humanitarian Aid During a Natural Disaster

May 2013

moore-oklahoma-tornado-1 Emergency First Responders search for possible trapped victims in a neighborhood reduced to rubble after a tornado struck Moore, Oklahoma Monday, 21 May 2013.

When disasters strike, many people inquire how they might assist or donate to the Church’s relief efforts. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints uses donations to the Humanitarian Aid Fund on an "as-needed" basis to purchase and deliver aid during times of crisis or whenever humanitarian assistance is needed. Unless specifically indicated, funds are not earmarked for any particular disaster or region.

Donate to Humanitarian Aid

Supplies are mostly purchased within or near the region needing assistance to help their economy. They are then distributed without regard to race, creed, or religion by the many local LDS members called upon for help, along with the government and non-government agencies we often partner with to efficiently reach those in need. Donations to the Humanitarian Aid Fundare welcome and appreciated. 100 percent of all donations are used to help the people in need.
